An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with BLD Services, LLC, for the construction of Parish Project No. S130201, Murray Hill (CC-1) Lift Station, with a Bid (Base and Alternate 1) in the amount of $772,800.00.

WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on July 31, 2014 for Murray Hill (CC-1) Lift Station; and,
WHEREAS, Pivotal, LLC, Consulting Engineers for the Project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Bid and Alternate 1 of the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, BLD Services, LLC, in the amount of $772,800.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of BLD Services, LLC, for the construction of Parish Project No. S130201, Murray Hill (CC-1) Lift Station, with a Bid (Base and Alternate 1) is hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $772,800.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ____________, 2014, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
