IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Adam Joseph Griffin is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Luling, Louisiana; and,
WHEREAS, Adam is an Assistant Scout Master and member of Troop 371, chartered by the Luling United Methodist Church; and,
WHEREAS, Adam has spent the last four years as an active member of the Scouts and has spent those four years preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,
WHEREAS, Adam has earned his 11 required and 10 elective badges from a list of 128 badges and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project, working in conjunction with the Monsanto Chemical Plant's Environmental Committee to build and install a hotel of Purple Martin bird houses to achieve the rank of EAGLE SCOUT; and,
WHEREAS, Adam earned these 21 required badges by showing leadership ability as senior patrol leader, patrol leader, quartermaster, assistant senior patrol leader and numerous other leadership roles; and,
WHEREAS, Adam rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT in January 2001 and will receive his medal at a ceremony in July 2001 at the Luling United Methodist Church; and,
WHEREAS, Adam is an adult leader serving in the capacity of Assistant Scout Master for Troop 371 in Luling, Louisiana.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
ADAM JOSEPH GRIFFIN
