IN   RECOGNITION
 
WHEREAS,      Dawn Marie Gaubert, is a resident of Hahnville and the daughter of Reginald Gaubert and Glenda Fonseca Chouest; and,
WHEREAS,      Dawn joined the Hahnville Volunteer Fire Department in 1996 as a Junior Firefighter and was recognized as the Junior Firefighter of the Year in 1998; and,
WHEREAS, Dawn has many Fire Station responsibilities such as coordinating and managing incentive programs, inputting financial data into the computer, maintaining fire calls, hose records, hydrant maintenance, and upkeep of all training.  She also files State Fire Marshal Reports and assist in taking Minutes of the St. Charles Firemen's Association Meetings; and,
WHEREAS,      Dawn graduated from Hahnville High School in May 2000 and is a Sophomore at Nicholls State University majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Math; and,
WHEREAS,      Dawn became a Senior Firefighter at the age of 18 in July 2000; and,
WHEREAS,      Dawn has been named Hahnville Volunteer Fire Department Senior Firefighter for the Year 2001.
 
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
 
DAWN MARIE GAUBERT
 
     "PARISH   OF   PLENTY"
 created in 1807 from the county of the
 "German Coast", a parish of
 unprecedented economic and social
 development, known for its
 hospitality, rural living and sporting
