Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No P130601, Sunset Pump Station Improvements, to balance the contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $6,322.16 in contract price and an increase in contract time of 20 days.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 16-1-4, adopted January 12, 2016 by the St. Charles Parish Council, awarded construction of Parish Project No P130601, Sunset Pump Station Improvements, to Fleming Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $862,735.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the contract resulting in a decrease to the contract price by $6,322.16 and an increase in contract time by 20 days. Final contract amount will be $856,412.84.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. P130601, Sunset Pump Station Improvements, to decrease the contract price by $6,322.16 and increase the contract time by 20 days is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
