Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Professional Services Agreement with Principal Engineering, Inc., to perform engineering services for River Point - River Village Drainage Improvements (Project No. P210805), not to exceed $128,170.00.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish desires to evaluate the existing 24" CMP drainage network at a 25-year storm to determine the appropriate capacity. Based on capacity, the Parish desires to upgrade the drainage network as necessary within the existing drainage servitude located between River Point Dr. and River Village Dr.; and,
WHEREAS, the project will improve conveyance of drainage from the back yards of the residence on River Point Dr. and River Village Dr. with the water eventually flowing into Schexnaydre Pump Station; and,
WHEREAS, the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Principal Engineering, Inc., describes the details of the proposed services and compensation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Professional Services Agreement between St. Charles Parish and Principal Engineering, Inc., to perform engineering services as required by the Department of Public Works for River Point - River Village Drainage Improvements (Project No. P210805), not to exceed $128,170.00, is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2021, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
