Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the zoning classification from C-2 and R-1A to R-3 of a 68-foot by 850-foot portion of Lot 5A located at 10555 River Road in Sections 34, & 36 T13 S R21E as requested by Brennen and Melissa Friloux.
Body
WHEREAS, the property owner requests rezoning the property portion from C-2 and R-1A to C-2; and,
WHEREAS, the St Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Department recommended approval of this request; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning Board of Commissioners recommended denial of the request at its regular meeting on May 5, 2016.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. St Charles Parish does hereby approve an ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the land use zoning classification C-2 and R-1A to R-3 of a 68-foot by 850-foot portion of Lot 5A, located at 10555 River Road in Sections 34, & 36 T13 S R21E as requested by Brennen and Melissa Friloux.
SECTION II. That the St. Charles Parish Department of Planning & Zoning is authorized to amend the official St. Charles Parish Zoning Map to reflect this zoning reclassification from C-2 and R-1A to R-3 at a 68-foot by 850-foot portion of Lot 5A, located at 10555 River Road in Sections 34, & 36 T13 S R21E as requested by Brennen and Melissa Friloux.
SECTION III. That the St. Charles Parish Department of Planning & Zoning is authorized to amend the official St. Charles Parish Future Land Use Map to reflect this reclassification of the C-2 zoned portion from General Commercial to Moderate Density Residential
