Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 2 - Final for Parish Project No. S000601, Luling Oxidation Pond Wetland Assimilation, to decrease the contract amount by $2,000.00.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 05-12-38 adopted December 19, 2005 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. S000601, Luling Oxidation Pond Wetland Assimilation, to Fleming Construction Company, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 05-12-39 adopted December 19, 2005 approved and authorized the execution of Change Order No. 1 to decrease the original contract amount by $21,400.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $2,000.00 in the contract amount.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. To approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 2 - Final for Parish Project No. S000601, Luling Oxidation Pond Wetland Assimilation, to decrease the contract amount by $2,000.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
