Title

An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with D & O Contractors, Inc. for the construction of Parish Project No. S020101-005  Force Main Relocation-Acadian Trace Subdivision in the amount of $91,550.00.

Body

WHEREAS,      sealed bids were received by the Parish on September 13, 2002 for Force Main Relocation Acadian Trace Subdivision; and,

WHEREAS,      Hartman Engineering, Inc., consulting engineer for the project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, D & O Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $91,550.00.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

SECTION I.      That the bid of D & O Contractors, Inc. of the Force Main Relocation- Acadian Trace Subdivision Project be hereby accepted in the amount of $91,550.00.

SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
