Title
A resolution authorizing the Council Secretary to forward an offer of objection and request an extension of time to allow for a review and take action on public notices received from State and/or Federal Regulatory Agencies when time constraints do not allow for Committee and/or public review prior to the original published deadline set by said Agencies.
Body
WHEREAS, the Parish Council receives public notices from State and/or Federal Regulatory Agencies on applications within their respective area of jurisdiction; and,
WHEREAS, the Parish Council desires to receive a recommendation from the Local Administrator/Local Coastal Program Advisory Committee and/or for the Parish Council to receive input from the public prior to responding to any public notice; and,
WHEREAS, an offer of objection could provide for additional time to review notices when time does not allow for action on public notices within the required deadline period set by the State and/or Federal Regulatory Agencies.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby authorize the Council Secretary to forward an offer of objection and request an extension of time to allow for a review and take action on public notices received from State and/or Federal Regulatory Agencies when time constraints do not allow for Committee and/or public review prior to the original published deadline set by said Agencies.
