Title
An ordinance of the Parish of St. Charles providing that the Code of Ordinances, Parish of St. Charles, be amended by revising Section 15-5, Motor Vehicles and Traffic, of said Code, to provide for the installation of "NO PARKING OVERNIGHT OR STORING OF OBJECTS ON THE MEDIAN BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 12 AM TO 5 AM" signs on the median on Bayou Estates Drive in Bayou Gauche.
Body
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. Traffic control signs have been posted by the Department of Public Works since the adoption of Ordinance No. 82-10-9.
SECTION II. In accordance with Section 15-5, Motor Vehicles and Traffic, of the St. Charles Parish Code of Ordinances, the Department of Public Works is hereby authorized to order the erection, removal and location of such traffic control signs, signals, devices and markings as provided in the chapter or any amendments thereto.
SECTION III. It shall be unlawful for any person to park or store any vehicle, watercraft, or other objects on the median of Bayou Estates Drive between the hours of 12 am to 5 am.
NOW, THEREFORE, WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, DO HEREBY ORDAIN that "NO PARKING OVERNIGHT OR STORING OF OBJECTS ON THE MEDIAN BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 12 AM TO 5 AM" signs be installed on the median on Bayou Estates Drive in Bayou Gauche.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
