Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Engineering Services Contract with Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P021005, Lagatutta Estates Pump Upgrade.
Body
WHEREAS, New pumps are required at this station because of its age and the development in the area; and,
WHEREAS, this project design will specify the necessary pump sizes and any pump improvements to increase the pumping capacity of this station; and,
WHEREAS, the QBS Selection Board met on February 26, 2003 and recommended award of Parish Project No. P021005, Lagatutta Estates Pump Upgrade to Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc. (See Attachment A); and,
WHEREAS, the Probable Project Budget for this contract is as follows:
Construction $ 159,000
Basic Engineering 16,000
Soils Investigation 4,000
Surveying 15,000
Testing/Other 6,000
Total Probable Project Budget $ 200,000
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Engineering Services Contract with Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P021005, Lagatutta Estates Pump Upgrade.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached Engineering Services Contract.
