ORDINANCE NO.
Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Agreement with the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for Almedia Road Improvements, State Project No. 845-17-0010, Federal Aid Project No. STP-4503(501)
Body
WHEREAS, funds have been appropriated out of the Highway Trust Fund for the transportation improvements program to implement the areawide transportation plan held currently valid by the metropolitan planning organization; and,
WHEREAS, the Almedia Road Improvements project has been approved by the Department of Transportation and Development for funding; and,
WHEREAS, in order to implement said project an Agreement has been prepared by the Department of Transportation and Development; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said Agreement.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Agreement by and between the Department of Transportation and Development and St. Charles Parish for State Project No. 845-17-0010, Federal Aid Project No. STP-4503(501) Almedia Road Improvements is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
