Title
A resolution nominating ________________________ as the At-Large member to the River Parishes Transit Authority.
Body
WHEREAS, by virtue of LRS 48:1602, the board of commissioners of the authority representing St. Charles Parish are appointed in the following manner: one member to be appointed by the governing authority of the parish; one member to be appointed by the governing authority of the parish from a list of three nominees submitted by the St. Charles Business Association, one nominee submitted by the River Area Council of the New Orleans Regional Chamber of Commerce, and three nominees submitted by the Louisiana AFL-CIO; and one At-Large member representing the local workforce investment board and appointed by a majority vote of the three parishes.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby nominate
as the At-Large Member to the River Parishes Transit Authority.
