ORDINANCE NO.
Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. One (1) for Parish Project No. P020704 Bayou Trepagnier Pump Station to increase the original contract amount by $421,294.00 and to increase the original contract time by 23 calendar days.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 03-9-9 adopted September 8, 2003 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with D&O Contractors, Inc., for the construction of Bayou Trepagnier Pump Station in the amount of $7,892,025.00; and,
WHEREAS, the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) required changes to the project to ensure compliance with regulations for approval of credit under Section 104 of the Water Resources Development Act of 1986; and,
WHEREAS, the implementation of these changes will require additional contract time and the purchase of additional construction materials.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. One (1) to the contract for the Bayou Trepagnier Pump Station to increase the original contract amount by $421,294.00 and to increase the original contract time by 23 calendar days is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
