Title
A resolution to agree to install and maintain advance warning signs and pavement markings on East Harding St., New Sarpy at the Kansas City Southern Railway Crossing (D.O.T. No. 335-583-R).
Body
WHEREAS,      the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has agreed to signalize the railroad crossing at East Harding St. and the Kansas City Southern Railway in New Sarpy; and
WHEREAS,      the funding for said project will be provided by the Federal Highway Administration which requires the local governing body to agree to install and maintain both advance warning signs and pavement markings; and
WHEREAS,      it is the desire of the Parish President and the Parish Council to support said project
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby agree to install and maintain both advance warning signs and pavement markings on East Harding Street at the Kansas City Southern Railway Crossing in New Sarpy. (D.O.T. No. 335-583R)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said project is identified as State Project No. 714-45-0002, FAP No. STP-4500 (509) Crossing No. 335-583R.
