Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. 1 for the St. Charles Parish Health Unit, Lamar Contractors, Inc., in the amount of $15,807.96.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 02-3-11 on March 25, 2002 approving a contract with Lamar Contractors, Inc. for the construction of the St. Charles Parish Health Unit in the amount of $1,315,800.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Architect, in conjunction with the Parish, have identified various changes to the project which are itemized in Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $15,807.96; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said Change Order No. 1.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1 to the contract for the St. Charles Parish Health Unit increasing the total contract amount by $15,807.96 to $1,331,607.96 is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order No. 1 on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ____________, 2002, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
