ORDINANCE NO.
Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 002 for Parish Project No. S190901, Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant (UV Replacement), resulting in a decrease of $10,000.00 in contract price.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 20-7-17 adopted July 27, 2020, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Volute, Inc. for Parish Project No. S190901 Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant (UV Replacement), with a Bid in the amount of $342,887.00.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 21-6-12 adopted June 6, 2021, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of Change Order No. 001 for Parish Project No S190901 Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant (UV Replacement) to increase the contract amount by $22,707.58 and increase the number of days by 14; Change Order No. 001 increased the contract price to $365,594.58 and increased the number of days by 14; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to decrease the contract price by $10,000.00 due to an unused line item, final contract price will be $355,594.58.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 002 for Parish Project No S190901, Destrehan Wastewater Treatment Plant (UV Replacement), to decrease the contract price by $10,000.00 is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
