Title
A resolution to appoint Mr. Tommy Faucheux to the Regional Planning Commission.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 16-12-4 was adopted by the St. Charles Parish Council on December 12, 2016, to approve the re-establishment of a Regional Planning Commission to include the Parishes of St. Charles and St. John the Baptist jointly with the Parishes of Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Tammany, and Tangipahoa; and,
WHEREAS, by virtue of this Resolution, the Governing Authority of St. Charles Parish shall appoint a member to the Regional Planning Commission who must not otherwise hold elected or appointed office in the Parish of St. Charles and approved by the Parish President.
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the Regional Planning Commission due to the resignation of Ms. Debbie Dufresne Vial on November 30, 2020. It is the desire of the Parish Council to fill this vacancy.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Mr. Tommy Faucheux 120 Lake Catherine Drive, Luling, LA 70070 is hereby appointed to the REGIONAL PLANNING COMMISSION; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said appointment shall be effective IMMEDIATELY and shall expire JANUARY 8, 2023.

And the resolution was declared adopted this day of , 2020, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
