Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Act of Donation by Dorcas Dufrene wife of/and Lloyd J. Frickey for the Des Allemands Water Tower Site, Lot WT on J. B. Green Road in Des Allemands.
Body
WHEREAS, on December 31, 1968, Texaco, Inc. entered into a lease agreement with St. Charles Parish Waterworks District No. 2 to allow the placement of a Water Tower on its property located along J. B. Green Road in Des Allemands which was recorded in the St. Charles Parish Clerk of Courts Office at Entry Number 35078 COB 90 Folio 297; and,
WHEREAS, on November 29, 2000, Dorcas Dufrene wife of/and Lloyd J. Frickey acquired said property from Texaco Exploration and Production Inc. which sale was recorded in the records of the Clerk of Court of St. Charles Parish on January 18, 2001 at Entry Number 250384 Book 581 Folio 4; and,
WHEREAS, on November 29, 2004, the Frickeys agreed to Donate said Water Tower Site to the Parish; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to accept said Donation.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Act of Donation by and between Dorcas Dufrene wife of/and Lloyd J. Frickey is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Act of Donation on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2005, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
