Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an agreement with Cobalt Construction, Inc. for the Wetland Watchers Park Phase II Improvements, Norco - Base bid and Alternate #1.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received on September 8, 2011 for Wetland Watchers Park Phase II Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, Campo Designs-Architects has reviewed the bids and recommends that the project be awarded to the low bidder, Cobalt Construction, Inc., including the base bid and Alternate No. 1 in the amount of $163,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to approve said Agreement.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Cobalt Construction, Inc. for the Wetland Watchers Park Phase II Improvements is hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $163,000.00 including the Base Bid and Alternate No. 1.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Agreement on behalf of St. Charles Parish.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of ___________, 2011 to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
