Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Amendment No. 1 to the Contract by and between the Parish of St. Charles and Ceres Environmental Services, Inc. for Disaster Debris Removal & Recovery Services, Parish Project No. P090501, extending the contract end date.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Council adopted Ordinance No. 13-2-1 on February 4, 2013, approving a Contract for the Disaster Debris Removal & Recovery Services, Parish Project No. P090501, with Ceres Environmental Services, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the contract was executed on February 19, 2013 and ending on December 31, 2016; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish and Ceres Environmental Services, Inc. desire to extend the contract end date an additional year, as allowed in the contract, to December 31, 2017.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Amendment No. 1 to the contract by and between the Parish of St. Charles and Ceres Environmental Services, Inc. for Disaster Debris Removal & Recovery Services, Parish Project No. P090501 to extend the contract end date to December 31, 2017, is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment No. 1 on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2016, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
