IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Mr. Henry J. Friloux, Jr. and his wife Arleen are long-time residents of Destrehan, Louisiana in St. Charles Parish and they are the proud parents of Andrea, Jacqueline, Henri, and Pierre and have six wonderful grandchildren; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Friloux is the Owner and President of Echo Ventures, Inc., a member of Louisiana Association of Business and Industry, St. Charles Parish United Way, and he has served on various Boards for Southern Gas Association, Archdiocese of New Orleans School Board, WYES-TV Channel 12 New Orleans, and St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church Parish; and,
WHEREAS, Mr. Friloux has a long line of education initiatives in working with School to Career Programs throughout the Region; and,
WHEREAS, as Chair of the Public Policy Committee, Mr. Friloux has successfully guided the Chamber's Public Policy Committee to ensure a consistent communication pipeline between the membership and Louisiana's Local and State Legislators, and will continue to work with this Committee to produce an even more effective "results oriented" program of work for 2007; and,
WHEREAS, on January 26, 2007, at the St. James Boat Club, Mr. Friloux received the River Region Chamber of Commerce's 2007 Shining Star Award.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
