Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of an Engineering Services Contract with Burk-Kleinpeter, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P000502, Ormond Trace Stabilization.
Body
WHEREAS, stabilization of the Ormond Trace Canal is necessary in order to prevent any further erosion within the canal to the Schexnaydre Pump Station; and,
WHEREAS, the QBS Selection Board met on February 25, 2002 and recommended award of Parish Project No. P000502, Ormond Trace Stabilization to Burk-Kleinpeter, Inc. (See Attachment A); and,
WHEREAS, the Project Budget for this contract is as follows:
Construction $ 460,000
Basic Engineering 32,660
Survey 4,600
Resident Inspection 36,000
Permits 5,000
Geotechnical 9,200
Total Project Budget $ 547,460
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Engineering Services Contract with Burk-Kleinpeter, Inc. for the design of Parish Project No. P000502, Ormond Trace Stabilization be hereby accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached Engineering Services Contract.
