ORDINANCE NO.                   

Title

An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 for Parish Project No P090103-9, Road Maintenance 2011, to balance the contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $14,157.45.

Body

WHEREAS,      Ordinance No. 11-8-2 adopted August 8, 2011 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No P090103-9, Road Maintenance 2011, to Barriere Construction Co, LLC; and,

WHEREAS,      it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease to the contract amount by $14,157.45.

THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:

      SECTION I.  That Change Order No. 1 for Parish Project No. P090103-9, Road Maintenance 2011, to decrease the contract amount by $14,157.45 is hereby approved and accepted.

SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
