Title
An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Ordinance No. 81-10-6, to approve a change of zoning classification from R-1A to OL at 297, 299, 301, 303, & 305 St. Marks Ave (Lots H1, H2, H3, H4 and H5), being a portion of Lot 3 of a partition between the heirs of Widow Ursin Zeringue, Town of Ama, as requested by Tracy & Dwayne Plaisance and Doris Dempsey.
Body
WHEREAS, the properties at 297, 299, 301, 303, 305 St Marks Ave in Ama are vacant; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission held the required public hearing on May 2, 2013; and,
WHEREAS, if approved, the Future Land Use Map for the site will be corrected accordingly.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. An ordinance to amend the Zoning Ordinance of 1981, Ordinance No. 81-10-6, to approve a change of zoning classification from R-1A to OL at 297, 299, 301, 303, 305 St Marks Ave, (Lots H1, H2, H3, H4 and H5), being a portion of Lot 3 of a partition between the heirs of Widow Ursin Zeringue, Ama.
SECTION II. To authorize the Department of Planning & Zoning to amend the official St. Charles Parish Zoning Map to reflect the zoning reclassification to OL.
SECTION III. To authorize the Department of Planning and Zoning to change the Future Land Use Map, in the Comprehensive Land Use Plan adopted under ordinance 11-6-11 from Low Density Residential to Rural Residential on the property.
