Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 for Parish Project No. P090201-3 Primrose Ellington Canal Crossing to increase the contract amount by $198,625.91 and add forty five (45) days to the contract time.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 14-12-13, adopted December 15, 2014, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Fleming Construction Co., LLC for Parish Project No. P090201-3 Primrose Ellington Canal Crossing in the amount of $1,999,453.40; and,
WHEREAS, the increase in contract amount is for the installation of concrete headwalls and wing walls at each crossing: and,
WHEREAS, the increase in contract time is required for installation of the headwalls and wing walls.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS,
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1 for Parish Project No. P090201-3 Primrose Ellington Canal Crossing to increase the contract amount by $198,625.91 and increase the contract time by forty five (45) days is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2015, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
