A resolution to grant permission to the St. Charles Parish Firemen's Association to solicit contributions at the intersection of LA 52 and Highway 90 on August 27, 2005.
Body
WHEREAS, Louisiana Revised Statute 32:218 B provides for the solicitation of contributions by non-profit organizations on a public roadway; and,
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Firemen's Association has requested permission to solicit contributions at the intersection of LA 52 and Highway 90 on August 27, 2005 for the purpose of contributing to the Muscular Dystrophy Association/Jerry Lewis Telethon.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby grant permission to the St. Charles Parish Firemen's Association to solicit contributions at the intersection of LA 52 and Highway 90 on August 27, 2005, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
