Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a Contract with Williams Contractors & Construction Services, LLC, of Laplace, LA., for the addition to the Killona Community Center located at 201 A Hwy 3141, Killona, LA. in the amount of $224,600.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on July 11, 2019, for the Killona Community Center at 201 A Hwy 3141, Hahnville; and,
WHEREAS, Murray Architects, the Architect for the project, has reviewed the bids and recommended that the project be awarded to the low bidder, Williams Contractors & Construction Services, LLC, of Laplace LA. in the amount of $224,600.00; and,
WHEREAS, the construction of this addition will provide additional space for the growing community.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Williams Contractors & Construction Services, LLC of Laplace, LA. for the addition to the Killona Community Center is hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $224,600.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Contract on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
SECTION lll. A final Notice of Contract shall be printed and filed in place of the contract documents with the St. Charles Parish Clerk of Court and in the records of the St. Charles Parish Council.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
