Title

A resolution providing mandatory support for the Planning and Zoning Commission’s approval for an accessory dwelling unit in an R-1A zoning district, with a waiver to Section VIII. Site Design Requirements, A.2. requiring permanent dust-free paving for off-street parking on Lot 15A, Square B, Murray Hill Subdivision, municipal address 224 Murray Hill Drive, Destrehan as requested by Sheldon and Sheri Simoneaux.

Body

WHEREAS,                     Sheldon and Sheri Simoneaux request a special permit use for an accessory dwelling unit in an R-1A zoning district with a waiver from the requirement for permanent dust-free paving for required parking; and,

WHEREAS,                     the St Charles Parish Department of Planning and Zoning recommended approval of the special permit use; and,

WHEREAS,                     the St. Charles Parish Planning & Zoning Commission approved the special permit at its regular meeting on May 2, 2019.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL hereby provides this resolution in support of the Planning and Zoning Commission’s approval of a Special Permit Use for an accessory dwelling unit in an R-1A zoning district, with a waiver from Section VIII. Site Design Requirements, A.2. requiring permanent dust-free paving for off-street parking on Lot 15A, Square B, Murray Hill Subdivision, municipal address 224 Murray Hill Drive, Destrehan as requested by Sheldon and Sheri Simoneaux.

                     The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
