Title
An ordinance to amend the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981, to change the zoning classification from R-1A to R-1A(M) on Lot 31A, Square 1, St. Charles Terrace Annex Subdivision, 175 Annex Street, New Sarpy as requested by Malcolm Darensbourg, III, for M.A.D. III, LLC.
Body
WHEREAS, Malcolm Darensbourg, III, for M.A.D. III, LLC requests a rezoning from R-1A to R-1A(M) on Lot 31A, Square 1, St. Charles Terrace Annex Subdivision, New Sarpy as shown on the survey by Stephen P. Flynn, PLS dated October 26, 2004; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Department recommended denial of the request; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended denial of the request at its regular meeting on September 5, 2024.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. The Zoning Ordinance of 1981 is amended to change the zoning classification from R-1A to R-1A(M) on Lot 31A, Square 1, St. Charles Terrace Annex Subdivision, New Sarpy as shown on the survey by Stephen P. Flynn, PLS dated October 26, 2004, as requested by Malcolm Darensbourg, III, for M.A.D. III, LLC.
SECTION II. The Department of Planning and Zoning is authorized to amend the Official Zoning Map, St. Charles Parish, Louisiana to reflect this reclassification from R-1A to R-1A(M) on Lot 31A, Square 1, St. Charles Terrace Annex Subdivision, New Sarpy as shown on the survey by Stephen P. Flynn, PLS dated October 26, 2004, as requested by Malcolm Darensbourg, III, for M.A.D. III, LLC.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:




And the ordinance was declared adopted this ______ day of __________, 2024, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
