IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Chelsea Lee Troxler is a resident of Luling, Louisiana in St. Charles Parish where she lives with her parents Lee and Charlotte Troxler; and,
WHEREAS, Chelsea attends Hahnville High School where she will be a Freshman and states that her future plans upon successfully graduating from Hahnville High will be to attend college and she has considered several careers from The Arts to becoming a Medical Doctor; and,
WHEREAS, Chelsea describes herself as outgoing, warm-hearted, and goal-orientated; and,
WHEREAS, Chelsea has received numerous awards and recognitions, among them Member of the Beta Club and has been an Honor Roll Recipient numerous times, Member of NOBA/NORD step up ensemble, accepted to the New Orleans Centre for Creative Arts for the summer/fall 2003 programs, 2003 Teen Miss Superstar, and 2003 Model of the Year at Star Systems National Competition; and,
WHEREAS, Chelsea's hobbies and activities, to name a few: Dancing, Modeling, Tumbling, Shopping, and making new friends.
When asked why she wanted to be the next St. Charles Parish Festival Teen Queen, Chelsea, who was sponsored by St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg Champagne, gave the following answer: "I do quite a bit of traveling and even though I enjoy traveling to different places it is always such a joy to come home. I feel that St. Charles Parish is such a wonderful place to live. We have the best of both worlds, a homely Parish with some of the nicest people in the State and only a short drive to a big metropolis. It would be an honor to represent the great St. Charles Parish as "St. Charles Parish Festival Teen Queen".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
