Title
A resolution providing mandatory supporting authorization for a variation to the minimum frontage requirements in an R-1A Zoning district as outlined in Planning & Zoning Commission Case PZS-99-60.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Subdivision Regulations of 1981 (as amended) requires both Planning & Zoning Commission approval and a supporting resolution of the Parish Council for variations to the subdivision regulations; and,
WHEREAS, the applicants, Rathborne Land Company, Inc. and J B. Levert Co. wish to subdivide an 18.075 acre tract into three smaller portions, and,
WHEREAS, lot RC-1-C as proposed on the subdivision map by Acadian Land Surveying, L.L.C. and dated June 8, 1999 has no frontage, and,
WHEREAS, lot RC-1-C as proposed on the subdivision map by Acadian Land Surveying, L.L.C. and dated June 8, 1999 is Zoned R-1A and would require a minimum of sixty (60) feet of frontage, and,
WHEREAS, the proposed lot RC-1-C is proposed to help fulfill a commitment made by the developer to the abutting property owners during the approval of Primrose Park Subdivision (PZR-98-06), and,
WHEREAS, the proposed variation from the subdivision regulations has received approval from the St. Charles Parish Planning and Zoning Commission.
WHEREAS, the Resolution carries conditions that the lots with no front footage shall be resubdivided into the adjoining properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, does hereby provide this supporting resolution for the variation to the minimum frontage requirements (sixty feet to zero feet) as outlined in Planning & Zoning Commission Case PZS-99-60.
