ORDINANCE:
Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract LA Contracting Enterprise for the construction of the Paul Maillard Road Sidewalk Project in the amount of $450,238.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on November 12, 1999, for Paul Maillard Road Sidewalk Project; and,
WHEREAS, N-Y Associates, Inc., consulting engineer for the project, have reviewed the bids and recommend that the Contract be awarded to the low bidder, LA Contracting Enterprise, in the amount of $450,238.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of LA Contracting Enterprise for the construction of the Paul Maillard Road Sidewalk Project be and hereby accepted in the amount of $450,238.00; and,
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.

The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 1999, to become effective five (5) days after this publication in the Official Journal.
