Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Capitol Enterprises, Inc. for the Repair and Repainting of Ground Water Storage Tank No. 1 at Luling Water Plant in the amount of $163,954.00.
Body
WHEREAS,      sealed bids were received by the Parish on June 22, 2001, for the Repair and Repainting of Ground Water Storage Tank No. 1 at Luling Water Plant; and,
WHEREAS,      Shread-Kuyrkendall & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers for the project have reviewed the bid and recommended the award of the contract to Capitol Enterprises, Inc. in the amount of $163,954.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
      SECTION I.      That the bid of Capitol Enterprises, Inc. for the Repair and Repainting of Ground Water Storage Tank No. 1 at Luling Water Plant be hereby accepted in the amount of $163,954.00.
      SECTION II.      That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.
