Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Contract with TEH Enterprise, LLC., for the construction of the Dog Park (Project No. RECBP219), in the amount of $1,430,000.00.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 19-2-11 adopted on February 18, 2019, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of an Engineering Services Contract between Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers and St. Charles Parish for the design of a Dog Park near the St. Charles Parish Animal Shelter; and,
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 6813 adopted on January 6, 2025, by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a letter by St. Charles Parish approving Civil & Sports Design Engineering, LLC, as the assignee of Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers, regarding the Multiphase Project Contract for engineering services with Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers for the St. Charles Parish Dog Park project; and,
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish plans to build a dog park to provide a safe, dedicated space where dogs can exercise, socialize, and play off-leash; and,
WHEREAS, dog parks help improve pet health while giving owners opportunities to connect with neighbors, strengthen community relationships, and enhance their overall quality of life; and,
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on May 7, 2026, for a Dog Park (Project No. RECBP219); and,
WHEREAS, Civil & Sports Design Engineering, LLC, has reviewed the bids and recommends that the Contract be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, TEH Enterprise, LLC., in the amount of $1,430,000.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of TEH Enterprise, LLC. for the construction of the Dog Park (Project No. RECBP219), is hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $1,430,000...
