IN RECOGNITION
WHEREAS, Erin Cesta, a resident of Destrehan, Louisiana in St. Charles Parish, is a graduating Senior at Destrehan High School; and,
WHEREAS, Erin has excelled in academics and is the Destrehan High School Valedictorian for the graduating class of 2001; and,
WHEREAS, Erin during her years at Destrehan was President of the Honor Society, Vice-President of the Honors Council, Member of the Beta Club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes; and,
WHEREAS, Erin is active in the St. Charles United Methodist Youth Group, where she serves as President; and,
WHEREAS, Erin tutors and mentors gifted elementary students in St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, Erin fences at the New Orleans Fencing Academy; and,
WHEREAS, Erin will be attending Tulane University on a scholarship this fall, majoring in Art History and minoring in French or Spanish.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
