Title
A resolution authorizing the Director of Finance to establish a Special Revenue Fund, Sinking Fund and Construction Fund for the Public Health Unit and to open bank accounts in the Hibernia National Bank to facilitate the administration of this fund.
Body
WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish voters passed a proposition to levy a sixty-five hundredths (.65) mill tax for acquiring, constructing, improving, maintaining, operating and supporting public health unit facilities in the Parish, including acquiring and constructing a new public health unit and the acquisition of all sites, furnishings and equipment required therefor.
WHEREAS, The Director of Finance has advised of the need to open new bank accounts for the financial administration of this fund to be entitled "Public Health Unit".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PARISH COUNCIL OF THE PARISH OF ST. CHARLES, STATE OF LOUISIANA, ACTING AS THE GOVERNING AUTHORITY OF SAID PARISH: That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to establish a Special Revenue Fund and to open bank accounts titled "Public Health Unit Maintenance and Operation Fund, Public Health Unit Sinking Fund, and Public Health Unit Construction Fund" to facilitate the financial administration of this fund.
