Title
A resolution to approve the placement of certain structures along the Krewe of Lul and the Krewe of Des Allemands Mardi Gras parade routes.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 08-12-3 authorizes the St. Charles Parish Council to grant a waiver for the placement of structures in public rights-of-ways for Mardi Gras parades; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish Council to grant its approval to the below listed structures.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, do hereby approve the following waivers to Ordinance No. 08-12-3 for the Krewe of Lul and Krewe of Des Allemands Mardi Gras parades:
1) Request of the Krewe of Lul to place a structure at 100 Paul Maillard Road in Luling, annually, for the Krewe of Lul parade.
2) Request of the Krewe of Lul to place a structure along the Monsanto Bicentennial Park parking lot, annually, for the Krewe of Lul parade.
3) Request of the Monsanto Company to place a structure along Sugarhouse Road from the Railroad to the Northern end of the Monsanto Park fence, annually, for the Krewe of Lul parade.
4) Request of the Krewe of Des Allemands to place a structure along Old Highway 90 near 114 Landry Lane in Des Allemands, annually, for the Krewe of Des Allemands parade.

The foregoing resolution having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the resolution was declared adopted this day of , 2009, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
