Title
A resolution to agree to install and maintain advance warning signs and pavement markings on River Bend Boulevard, St. Rose at the Kansas City Southern Railroad Crossing (D.O.T. No. 335-113H).
Body
WHEREAS, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has agreed to upgrade the signals and install warning gates on the railroad crossing at River Bend Boulevard and the Kansas City Southern Railroad in St. Rose; and,
WHEREAS, the funding for said project will be provided by the Federal Highway Administration which requires the local governing body to agree to install and maintain both advance warning signs and pavement markings; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish President and the Parish Council to support said project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby agree to install and maintain both advance warning signs and pavement markings on River Bend Boulevard at the Kansas City Southern Railroad Crossing in St. Rose. (D.O.T. No. 335-113H).
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said project is identified as State Project No. 714-45-0007, FAP No. STP-4506 (501).
