Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. P021201, Road Maintenance 2005, to decrease the contract amount by $53,996.81 and to increase the contract time by 35 days.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 05-6-4 adopted June 6, 2005 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No. P021201, Road Maintenance 2005, to Barriere Construction Co., L.L.C.; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the original contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease of $53,996.81 in the contract amount and an increase in the contract time by 35 calendar days.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the Administration is hereby authorized to execute Change Order No. 1 (Final) for the Road Maintenance 2005 contract to decrease the contract amount by $53,996.81 and to increase the contract time by 35 calendar days.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
