Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 2 for Parish Project No P111002-13, H.010843 Ormond Boulevard Pavement Rehabilitation, to decrease the contract amount by $37,894.52.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 16-1-11 adopted January 12, 2016 by the St. Charles Parish Council awarded construction of Parish Project No P111002-13, H.010843 Ormond Boulevard Pavement Rehabilitation, to Barriere Construction Co, LLC; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 16-8-6 adopted August 15, 2016 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized Change Order No. 1 to allow for unforeseen additional work creating an increase of $278,528.24 to the contract; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend the contract to adjust the contract quantities with actual quantities resulting in a decrease to the contract amount by $37,894.52.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 2 for Parish Project No. P111002-13, H.010843 Ormond Boulevard Pavement Rehabilitation, to decrease the contract amount by $37,894.52 is hereby approved and accepted.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order No. 2 on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this day of , 2017, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
