Title
An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order Two (2) - Final for Parish Project No. P030908, West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee Clearing and Grubbing, Phase I, to decrease the contract amount by $25,130.50 and to increase the contract time by 87 calendar days.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 04-2-12, adopted February 16, 2004 by the St. Charles Parish Council approved and authorized the execution of Change Order One (1) for Parish Project No. P030908, West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee Clearing and Grubbing, Phase I, to decrease the contract amount by $76,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 04-2-11, adopted February 16, 2004 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Grillot Construction Co., L.L.C. for the construction of Parish Project No. P030908, West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee Clearing and Grubbing, Phase I; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to decrease the original contract in the amount of $25,130.50 and to increase the contract time by 87 calendar days to balance actual quantities.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. To approve and authorize the execution of Change Order Two (2) - Final for Parish Project No. P030908, West Bank Hurricane Protection Levee Clearing and Grubbing, Phase I, to decrease the contract amount by $25,130.50 and to increase the contract time by 87 calendar days.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order.
