An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with MMR Constructors, Inc., Inc. for the construction of Project P000303A, Parish Wide Drainage System Telemetry - Phase IIIA, Lakewood Pump Station/Diane Pump Station in the amount of $261,654.00 (Base Bid + Bid Alt. No. 1).
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by the Parish on June 25, 2004 for Parish Wide Drainage System Telemetry - Phase IIIA, Lakewood Pump Station/Diane Pump Station; and,
WHEREAS, GSE Associates, Inc., consulting engineer for the project, has reviewed the bids and recommend that the contract be awarded to the low bidder, MMR Constructors, Inc., in the amount of $261,654.00 (Base Bid+ Bid Alt. No. 1).
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of MMR Constructors, Inc. for the construction of Parish Wide Drainage System Telemetry - Phase IIIA, Lakewood Pump Station/Diane Pump Station be hereby accepted in the amount of $261,654.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute the attached contract documents.
