ORDINANCE NO.:
Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. Two - Final for the Bayou Gauche Walking Track project number P020802 to decrease the contract amount by $58.36 and to increase the contract time by nineteen (19) days to balance quantities and negotiated items.
Body
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 03-7-10, adopted on July 21, 2003 by the St. Charles Parish Council approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Civil Construction Contractors, Inc. for the construction of the Bayou Gauche Walking Track in the amount of $51,839.00; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 04-2-7, adopted on 2-16-04 by the St. Charles Parish Council approved and authorized the execution of Change Order No. One to increase the contract amount by $3,538.00 and to increase the contract time by twenty-three (23) days to complete the work; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to decrease the contract amount by $58.36 and to increase the contract time by nineteen (19) days to balance quantities and negotiated items.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. To approve and authorize the execution of Change Order No. Two - Final for the Bayou Gauche Walking Track project number P020802 to decrease the contract amount by $58.36 and to increase the contract time by nineteen (19) days to balance quantities and negotiated items.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract on behalf of the Parish of St. Charles.
