Title
An ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 02-4-3, an Agreement between the Center for Family and Youth Services, Inc. and St. Charles Parish to implement Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice Subgrant Number A00-8-002 to increase the Grant amount from $102,594.00 to $107,594.00.

WHEREAS, St. Charles Parish, in conjunction with the Judges of the 29th Judicial District, the Sheriff's Office, District Attorney's Office and the Schools Drug Free Program applied for a Juvenile Accountability Incentive Block Grant through the Louisiana Commission on Law Enforcement and Administration of Criminal Justice to develop and administer accountability - based sanctions for juvenile offenders; and,
WHEREAS, on April 21, 2003, the Parish was notified that the Commission had increased the Grant from $92,335.00 (Federal Share) with a local cash match of $10,259.00 to $96,835.00 Federal Funds with a local match of $10,759.00 by the Center; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Parish and the Center for Family and Youth Services to amend the agreement for the implementation of Subgrant Number A00-8-002.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Amendment No. 1 between the Center for Family and Youth Services, Inc. and St. Charles Parish is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
