Title
An ordinance to approve and authorize the execution of a contract with Frickey Brothers Construction, LLC, for the construction of Federal Project No. 22-00910, Rathborne Park Development, Phase I in the amount of $318,043.00.
Body
WHEREAS, sealed bids were received by St. Charles Parish on October 28, 2010 for the Rathborne Park Development, Phase I project; and,
WHEREAS, Civil & Environmental Consulting Engineers, Danny Hebert, P.E., L.L.C., the Engineer for the project, has reviewed the bids and recommended that the contract be awarded to the low bidder, Frickey Brothers Construction, L.L.C., in the amount of $318,043.00; and,
WHEREAS, the construction costs will be partially funded by a Land and Water Conservation Fund grant in the amount of $150,000.00 and area subdivision developers fees in the amount of $150,000.00.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That the bid of Frickey Brothers Construction, L.L.C., for the construction of Federal Project No. 22-00910, Rathborne Park Development, Phase I, be hereby approved and accepted in the amount of $318,043.00.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said contract documents on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
