An ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. LGAP File # 1213-STC-0001for the St. Charles Parish Courthouse Security Entrance Project to decrease the contract amount by $22,076.50.

WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 13-12-11 adopted December 16, 2013 by the St. Charles Parish Council, approved and authorized the execution of a contract with Thomassie Construction, Inc., of Thibodeaux, LA for the St. Charles Parish Courthouse Security Entrance project, LGAP File # 1213-STC-0001, in the amount of $116,724.00; and,
WHEREAS, the decrease in the contract amount was a result of adjusted and deleted bid line item quantities and materials.
THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I. That Change Order No. 1 (Final) for Parish Project No. LGAP File # 1213-STC-0001for the St. Charles Parish Courthouse Security Entrance Project to decrease the contract amount by $22,076.50 is hereby approved.
SECTION II. That the Parish President is hereby authorized to execute said Change Order on behalf of St. Charles Parish.
The foregoing ordinance having been submitted to a vote, the vote thereon was as follows:
And the ordinance was declared adopted this _____ day of _____________, 2014, to become effective five (5) days after publication in the Official Journal.
