Title
A resolution providing mandatory supporting authorization to Eldon J. Savoie to endorse the Planning Board of Commissioners positive recommendation PZSPU-2009-03 to allow development of an RV park on less than the minimum 2-acres with a waiver to the requirement for fencing, washateria, recreation, and a limit of 5 travel campers or RVs on Lots U and AA of Estay Subdivision (719 Ayo Lane & 420 Wisner Street) in Paradis.
Body
WHEREAS, the St. Charles Parish Zoning Ordinance of 1981 (as amended) requires a supporting resolution of the Parish Council for a waiver to the zoning regulations for special permit uses; and,
WHEREAS, the property owner, Eldon J. Savoie, wishes to develop an RV park on less than the required minimum 2-acres with a waiver to the requirement for fencing, washateria, recreation, and a limit of 5 travel campers or RVs on Lots U and AA of Estay Subdivision (719 Ayo Lane & 420 Wisner Street) in Paradis.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL, does hereby provide this supporting resolution for PZSPU-2009-03 to allow development of an RV park on less than the minimum 2-acres with a waiver to the requirement for fencing, washateria, recreation, and a limit of 5 travel campers or RVs on Lots U and AA of Estay Subdivision (719 Ayo Lane & 420 Wisner Street) in Paradis.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the waiver to the requirements for fencing, washateria and recreation is granted contingent upon the testimony given by Mr. Eldon Savoie that the site is not operated as a commercial RV facility. In the event that Mr. Savoie creates a commercial RV park or should a change in ownership occur; the waivers shall become nullified.
