IN   RECOGNITION

 

WHEREAS,                     Trevor Jacob Melito is a resident of St. Charles Parish residing in Destrehan, Louisiana with his parents Larry and Tammy, and brother Trey; and,

WHEREAS,                     Trevor is a member of Troop 370 chartered by St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling; he started his Scouting career April 2017; and,

WHEREAS,                     Trevor has spent the last 3 years as an active member of the Scouts, spending the last 3 years preparing to become an EAGLE SCOUT; and,

WHEREAS,                     Trevor has earned his 28 merit badges from a list of 137 badges and completed his Eagle Scout Service Project by building bat boxes placed in the Bonne Carre’ Spillway; and,

WHEREAS,                     Trevor earned these 28 merit badges by showing leadership ability as Senior Patrol Leader and Patrol Leader; and,

WHEREAS,                     Trevor rose to the rank of EAGLE SCOUT on March 27, 2019, and received his medal in a ceremony on January 25, 2020, at the VFW Post 3750 West St. Charles Building in Luling; and,

WHEREAS,                     Trevor is a 2020 graduate of Archbishop Rummel High School, and will continue to grow as an EAGLE SCOUT by providing leadership as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Troop 370.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST. CHARLES PARISH COUNCIL AND THE PARISH PRESIDENT, do hereby offer this tribute and recognition to
