Title
A resolution of the St. Charles Parish Council requesting that Parish President Larry Cochran sends a letter along with project applications to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, prior to the Department's October 1, 2017 deadline date for receiving the letter, requesting that both the proposed Highway 90 and the proposed Des Allemands boat launches be considered and placed on the 2018 list of Sport Fish Restoration (i.e., Wallop - Breaux) boating access projects.
Body
WHEREAS, outdoor recreation is an important part of living in south Louisiana and plays a critical part in the quality of life and health and welfare of the residents and guests of St. Charles Parish; and,
WHEREAS, the west bank of St. Charles Parish is in dire need of adequate public boat launch facilities to access our precious and productive waterways; and,
WHEREAS, these boat launches would be of benefit to the citizens of St. Charles Parish as well as all boaters from neighboring parishes and others from across the state.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, THAT WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE ST.
